**COMACCHIO GEO 909 GT** is a dual-head rig for geothermal drilling. Separate drives operate the inner drill string and outer casing, allowing the borehole to be cased as drilling progresses. Equipment is selected for the required diameter, geology and flushing method.

The GEO 909 GT has an integrated automatic magazine for 2 m elements. It is designed for 89 mm rods and 140–152 mm casings; these magazine dimensions determine the tooling selection.
